EA SPORTS PGA TOUR has released its latest update, bringing in several changes and improvements to the game. Among these changes are community-requested features, including the much-anticipated return of the 3-Click Swing and fixes in UI navigation.
3-Click Swing
One of the most requested features from the community, the 3-Click Swing, has finally returned in this update. This classic swing mechanic has been a staple in golf games for decades, and its reintroduction in EA SPORTS PGA TOUR is a welcome addition for players who prefer this type of swing. I was never a fan because I felt like it was too easy and I like the challenge of the stick, but I know a lot of people want it so I don’t really have an issue with it.
UI Navigation Fixes
What I did have an issue with were the UI and Navigation issues that plagued the game. The update also brings several fixes to these issues reported by the community. These fixes include issues in Private Match, Event Info Screen, and the inability to scroll back to the top of the Amateur Leaderboard.
Here is a list of UI Improvements:
- Private Match, Event Info Screen: The round Settings subtab disappears if the host enters the EIS lobby again from the guest profile Invite Game option.
- Private Match, Event Info Screen: Game modes disappear from FE if the host enters the EIS lobby from the guest profile Invite Game option
- The player is taken into Quests instead of Private Match EIS after accepting an invite
- The contents from the Pending tab is moved to the Seasonal Tournaments Tab after playing a tournament
- No hints on the Leaderboard sub-tab when playing online modes.
- Amateur Leaderboard: Unable to scroll back to the top after the user scrolls to the last player
- Store: The preview button has functionality when buying tickets despite the button not being displayed on the screen
- Fix for players being incorrectly returned to “Bio” if they back out of “Preview” from any of the Identity nodes
- Change club type operation is executed over the active club, not the focused one.
- Main Menu: The user is taken to career when hovering over and select the main menu quest widget or the featured content panel
